Create a class and pick which year's word list it uses. Students choose their class when they sign in.
Pick a class, then add students. If two students share a first name, the app shows a surname initial to tell them apart.
Live progress for each student, pulled from every device they've played on.
One word per line, followed by a comma and its unit number — e.g. APPLE,2. Words up to 15 letters. The unit number powers the hint button. Each list is shared by every class set to that year.
This password gates the dashboard. Anyone with it can edit classes, students and word lists.
How to play
Guess the spelling word before you run out of tries. Type letters, then press Enter.
Green: right letter, right spot
Yellow: right letter, wrong spot
Grey: letter isn't in the word
After 3 guesses, the hint button unlocks. It narrows your word down to 3 possible spelling units — you'll still need to check the list to find it.
Use the year toggle at the top any time to switch lists.
Easy, Medium and Hard control word length: Easy words are 5 letters or fewer and start with one free letter already filled in. Medium is 6 letters, and reveals one more free letter on your 6th guess if you're still stuck. Hard is 7 or more, with no free letters.
